This documentary, "Life in Toronto: Exploring Urban Reality," originated from a keen observation of the contrasting lifestyles within Toronto and its surrounding suburbs. Family Trip

Director, Cinematographer, Editor | 2021

This video is a Vlog video with my family. Vlog is a video word that combines video and blog and is video content posted by many YouTubers. I strongly put the theme of my travel diary with my family. Another feature is that I wrote Korean and English together in the subtitles. The license plate of the car and the faces of the people walking on the street are covered with mosaics. In the intro, there are 4 types of videos. Also, Niagara Falls is shown slowly, and it tells you that my video begins. At the beginning of this video, I used a skill that seemed to go over the film.

This work was created as part of Project 1: Archival Identities, combining 50% found footage and 50% my own footage (by time) to construct a 2-minute and 45-second self-portrait. The video contrasts my experiences in South Korea and Canada, exploring the shifts in identity and lived experiences between these two spaces.
